General of the Week: Andy Smithey, ’20
Andy Smithey, a junior forward and captain on the Washington and Lee women’s basketball team averaged 17 points per game the last week on January, including a 19-point game that led the Generals to victory over Shenandoah. Smithey has averaged more than six rebounds per game this season, helping lead her team to 14 wins this season, including 10 in the ODAC.
