University President Will Dudley filled up a bowl with Doritos and passed it to a group of students crowded around the board game, Loaded Questions. He was tied for the lead and was determined to win.

Dudley hosted The Hub’s weekly game night at his home, Lee House, on Saturday, Jan. 26. About 70 students attended, as well as Jason Rodocker, the dean for first-year students, and Kelsey Goodwin, the director of student activities.

It was Dudley’s idea to host the Hub, a student-run organization that offers board games, food and sometimes karaoke to students every Saturday night.

Students play Twister, Clue and other board games at President Will Dudley’s house on Saturday.

“We thought a Lee House takeover would be fun,” Goodwin said. “I think people are kind of excited by the idea of this informal fun with President Dudley.”

Goodwin said the Hub is planning to apply for Executive Committee funding soon. Right now, the events are sponsored by the Student Activities office.
