Austin Evans, Sports Staff Writer

Austin Evans is a sophomore from Birmingham, Alabama, who plans to major in strategic communications and political science. He is passionate about almost everything involving the outdoors and environment, and spends his free time whitewater kayaking, hiking, and running around the Blue Ridge. Austin spent the last two summers working as a raft guide in western North Carolina and as a kayak guide in South Carolina. He’s excited to join the Ring-tum Phi team and continue writing for the sports column this year!
