Pre-orientation programs grow to satisfy rising student demand

More students than ever flocked to campus ahead of orientation week this year to get involved in The Leading Edge, Washington and Lee’s trio of first-year pre-orientation programs.

According to James Dick, Washington and Lee’s director of outdoor education, there are three different pre-orientation programs first-years can choose from, with Appalachian Adventure being the original program that is often the most popular among first-year students.
